Nice work, David. Do you have any interest in working with Jacl? Since it has the 'java' package for calling Java objects, it might be easy to get some of the Android UI working.

I use HECL and love it. It is the only easy way to program for cell phones. Androide is new, but could be very interesting code for it (and get some money from the Google contest :) ). But no in pure Java, that is great, but is very difficult (very stepping learning curve). I hope HECL get in the mainstream like java for programing to mobiles.
